How to select your heater
Each home is different, but with normal levels of insulation etc, you will need approx 100 watts per sqm to comfortably heat the room. So for a 20sqm lounge room, you would need 20 x 100watts = 2000 watts. In this case you would need 1 x 2000 watt heater, so chose either a E20 which comes with a built in thermostat or an EU20 if you also want a timer included.
Nobo Central Heating System
For large open plan areas where multiple heaters are required, you can purchase 2 or more of the above Nobo heaters, or alternatively you can purchase models which are supplied without built in thermostat or timers. These need to be plugged into GPO’s, which are then wired to dedicated power circuits. These circuits are then connected to a central controlling thermostat, which in turn controls all the panel heaters for that zone. This system is commonly used for open plan Family/dining/kitchen areas where only 1 control is required.
